About Dr. David Slavin
Dr. Slavin was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College in 1985.  He then went to New York Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1989.  He also took an intensive post-graduate program in sports injuries which qualified him as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.  Dr. Slavin has taken many other seminars including nutrition, pediatrics, diagnostic X-ray and Chiropractic technique.

He has been in private practice since 1990 when he opened his office in West Babylon.  In 1994, he opened the New Life Chiropractic Center in Forest Hills.  In 2000, Dr. Slavin moved his office to its current location in Lindenhurst.

Dr. Slavin is married and has two beautiful children.   He has a four year old daughter and a two year old son.

For fun, Dr. Slavin loves to play softball, football and racquetball.  He considers himself to be a diehard New York Mets fan.

Dr. Slavin gives free, public service lectures on nutrition, arthritis, osteoporosis and many other health related topics.  Please feel free to contact the office if your organization requires a speaker.
